The resource will join Minor Hotels Europe & Americas within F&A Department based in Milan, supporting the Financial and Administration Team and the Head of Finance in accounting administrative and tax activities, working on the financial statement process and business tax compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping and periodic accounting requirements for reporting tax purposes at monthly bases
- Support on Annual Fiscal Declarations, periodic tax obligations, tax payments
- Manage the relationship with the external tax consultant and auditors
- Tax Analysis for Budget and forecast purposes
- Review fiscal procedures and monitoring local tax legislation updates, highlighting issues and possible “fiscal bonus” to local team
- Provide support to project on fiscal and administration tasks
- The resource will interact daily with HQ colleagues and other Business Unites abroad and Share Service Center
Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Three/five years of similar position
- Confident with IFRS Generally Accepted Accounting Standards
- Business-fluent written and spoken English, Spanish would be a plus.
- Proficient in Excel; working knowledge of MS Office
- SAP and HFM experience a plus
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
