With an extensive Youth Program here at Parthian Manchester, we are looking for the next enthusiastic individual to join our team.
Our Squad Coaches are responsible for organising, running and developing our squad program alongside our Climbing Manager.
As Squad Coach, your role will primarily be to deliver high quality coaching sessions to both our Development and Senior Squads, working alongside the existing Coaching Team. Ensuring the delivery of a premium coaching/youth programme in support of Parthian’s mission and core values.
You will report directly to the Climbing Manager & Centre Manager.
Our squad sessions run on Monday and Thursday evenings, so availability during those times is essential.
For the right candidate Duty Manager responsibilities alongside additional hours will be available.
Essential Skills/Qualifications:
- Foundation Coach Training
- CWI or higher
- Personal Climbing at a good standard
- Coaching and/or Experience
Desirable Skills/Qualifications
- Development Coach Training
- CWDI or higher
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering our Youth Programme, primarily Squad sessions.
- Talent scouting and assisting the Climbing Squad at Local and National Competitions where required.
- Assisting the Climbing Manager with profiling and session planning
- Talent scouting and recruiting new squad members to fulfil group ratios
Our Squad Coaches are well supported by an experienced management team and play a key role in the development of the centre. We will provide training and development to ensure that you flourish in the role and grow with the company.
- Variable hour contracts (Initially either a 4 or 8 hour contract is available - this covers squad sessions on either 1 or 2 nights a week).
