Chalet Cooks / Host required for the winter season with Ski Magic!
This is a very busy, fun role with lots of cooking, guest interaction and cleaning.
Ski Magic hosts have a strong work ethic and are super-organised to ensure all the daily tasks are completed. Being a team player is essential, as is a sense of humour and reliable nature.
Chalet hosts are required to prepare breakfast, afternoon tea and a three course evening meal each day. Cleaning is also an important part of the role as our guests have very high expectations: housekeeping positions in hotels and B&Bs are useful experience for this side of the role.
Ski time: You’ll have time on the slopes most days of the season (except changeover days!)
The chalet cook / host's primary responsibility is to create a warm and welcoming environment in their assigned chalets for all guests, including children and to provide excellent quality food and maintain the company’s high standards as set out in the staff manual.
You will be required to answer guest’s questions relating to the resort and the chalet and to resolve any small problems that guests may have. Your aim is to ensure that guests enjoy the best possible skiing holiday. Managers are available in resort to support you in your work.
You will be required to shop and budget for all food and cleaning materials once a week usually on a Friday morning.
