Location: The Outward Bound Trust, Eskdale, Lake District
Salary: £26,618- £36,085 plus benefits, (starting salary is dependent on qualifications and experience)
Come and join our supportive and collaborative team and be a key part in helping young people develop.
From our Eskdale Centre in the western Lake District, we work with young people aged
16-25 who are in the early stages of their careers, employed as apprentices or graduates.
Our goal is to support them to cultivate the behaviours that will ease their transition into the workforce, advance their careers, and contribute value to their organisations.
You'll facilitate quality learning and development in the mountains, whilst wild camping, in gorges, on rivers and lakes, or perched atop crags in Eskdale and the surrounding valleys.
Our Group Trainers create transformative moments for individuals and their group, whether during a group abseil, a solo reflection on a mountainside, or a facilitated discussion with their trainer - each experience fosters positive and lasting change. It’s a hugely rewarding job.
You might have higher level NGBs, or you might have consolidated your experience with baseline NGBs (ML, RCI and a paddlesport qualification). You will receive a personalised and supportive induction program, along with continuous training and development to help you thrive in the role.
