Alpine nanny are looking for experienced nannies for the 2024-25 ski season in Zermatt.

This is a full-time position for the winter ski season 2024-25 .

(Please note we can only accept applications from candidates with an EU passport.)

Key Role and Responsibilities

- Supervise and look after children or babies aged from 3 months to 13 years, either in their a chalet, hotel and outside in the ski resort.

- Entertain children indoors with age-appropriate toys and activities. Take children outside to go sledging, play in the snow, go for walks, rides in gondolas go on trains.

- Prepare lunch and snacks

- Pick up children from ski school.

- Change nappies and give baths when required and put to bed.

- Communicate with parents and have an organized plan of activities including ski school picks and flexibility to work around the family schedule.

- Available for evening babysitting

Alpine nanny work with different families each week and the hours will vary.

Some weeks we are super busy and some we are not as busy.

What We Offer

we offer a monthly salary to our Nannie’s for living cost.
however we pay our Nannie’s hourly, at the end of the season we count all your hours.
shared accommodation is provided and the cost deducted each month.
ski pass for the season for work and free time.
Uniform winter jacket for work polo shirts jumpers fleece.

We do get last minute bookings so we ask for flexibility as well.

Requirements

- At least 2/3 years paid childcare experience with babies and young children.

- EU passport only.

- Advanced English speaking plus other languages a great plus.

- Three contactable references or more and written references.

- Police check/DBS

- First Aid Certificate

- Reliable, responsible, flexible , fun and able to work independently
