About
My name is James Franklin and I have recently successfully completed a Foundation Degree course at Royal Leamington Spa college. I was fortunately introduced to skiing as a teenager and since then have achieved the highest level ESF award in 5 weeks on the slopes. I am now a very competent skier both on and off-piste. I enjoy being a team member and have plenty of experience of this through playing in bands and orchestras since the age of 10. As part of this I have worked as a volunteer for a charity, helping to encourage the next generation of brass players. I have worked as backstage crew for school charity events as a sixth form music leader and for amateur dramatic productions. I played pit orchestra for Little Shop of Horrors as well as Oliver. In my free time I enjoy working on art projects typically either painting or working with textiles and am enhancing the skills I learnt during my A Level Product Design by helping my father with house renovations. I enjoy cooking when I get the opportunity, relish trying new recipes and look forward to any opportunity to expand my skills. Two members of my extended family completed seasons (Handyman/Driver in Chamonix and Chalet Host in St Anton) so I am fully aware of the commitment required.
