The Housekeeping Trainee is responsible for overseeing the servicing of rooms during the day shift as well as ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas meet the highest cleanliness and quality standards.
Duties included but are not limited to:
• Making beds and changing linens
• Cleaning rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
• Dusting furniture and surfaces
• Replenishing toiletries and supplies
• Emptying trash bins and disposing of waste
• Handling laundry (washing, drying, folding)
• Reporting maintenance issues and lost items
• Following safety and hygiene protocols
• Assisting guests with housekeeping requests
