As our Sous Chef Italian Specialty, you will:
- Showcase your expertise in Italian cuisine, including regional dishes, traditional techniques, and modern interpretations of classic Italian recipes.
- Lead the Italian specialty kitchen in the preparation and presentation of authentic Italian dishes, ensuring the highest standards of quality, flavor, and presentation.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and culinary team to develop seasonal Italian menus that showcase the best of Italian ingredients, flavors, and culinary traditions.
- Mentor and train kitchen staff in Italian cooking techniques, flavor profiles, and plating presentations to uphold the authenticity and creativity of the resort’s Italian offerings.
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control, cost management, and quality assurance, to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
Qualifications - A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Italian cuisine, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role as a Sous Chef or similar position specializing in Italian cuisine.
- Proficiency in a wide range of Italian dishes, from antipasti to dolci, with a deep understanding of Italian ingredients, flavors, and cooking methods.
