We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our Accounts team located in Killarney, Co. Kerry. The working hours are 8.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday inclusive of 1 hour break. As the Accounts Assistant, you will support the finance team across our four Hotels and our variety of outlets in Co. Kerry.
What you'll do: - Monitor purchase orders and supplier invoices.
- Processing Supplier Invoices and Matching to Purchase Orders and Payments.
- Maintain accounts payable ledger.
- Bank reconciliation.
- Processing Payroll.
- Provide timely reports.
- Tracking Gross Profit Margins.
- Assist with the preparation of Monthly Management Accounts.
- Assist in the annual audit process.
- Experience with online Procurement systems beneficial.
- Opportunity to progress within organisation.
About you: We are currently recruiting for the following roles:
- 1-2 years experience working as part of the Accounts/Finance team.
- Accounting Technician / Part Qualified Accountant.
- Experience working within the Hospitality industry is an advantage.
- Ability to operate on own initiative.
- Flexible & Adaptable team player with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Willingness to learn, take instruction & ownership in routine practices.
