The person in this position is responsible for managing the Guest Relations section and providing the highest professional services in accordance with the policies, procedures and service standards of and the Leading Hotels of the World. He/she also acts as a representative of the hotel management and deals with all guest relations issues brought to his/her attention to the satisfaction of the guests.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communicating the hotel and company philosophy and internal representation of the hotel.
- Have a thorough knowledge of the hotel and the geographical layout of the area around Gallura.
- Being familiar with all guests, hotel functions and special events.
- Welcome, facilitate and greet guests on arrival, accompany them to their rooms and on departure.
- Handle guest complaints and requests in a courteous and efficient manner, give further instructions
- to relevant staff as necessary to ensure maximum guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a record of all complaints and requests, follow up and inform the relevant operational
- departments.
- Upon guest demand develop and handle special activities and requests.
- Participating in daily briefings.
- Recognizing guests during their stay and providing information on services and any internal hotel
- promotions.
- Participating in training programmes planned and scheduled by the HR department.
