In Mas de Torrent, we are selecting an internship student to immerse themselves in the art of gourmet cuisine. Through hands-on experience and guided learning, they will assist our skilled culinary team in preparing exquisite dishes, mastering techniques, and upholding the highest standards of quality. This journey will cultivate their passion for gastronomy while contributing to the unforgettable dining experience we offer to our esteemed guests.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Your main responsibilities will be:
• Assist chefs in preparing and presenting high-quality dishes, adhering to established recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Participate in various kitchen stations, including mise en place, cooking, plating, and garnishing, to gain a comprehensive understanding of culinary operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, ensuring strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Learn and practice cooking techniques, knife skills, and culinary processes under the guidance of experienced chefs.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient production during busy service periods.
• Engage in continuous learning by attending culinary training sessions, tastings, and workshops to enhance skills and broaden culinary knowledge.
