We are a 4* family run hotel in the French Alps
You are the friendly face working as a team to service our guest bedrooms daily. For this role we will only consider candidates who have had previous experience either in a hotel, restaurant or chalet.
Our guests are expecting impeccable standards of cleanliness and service and we must never disappoint.
This is a fast paced job so we expect our team to work fast and efficiently when on duty.
Our Housekeepers do daily room servicing and full bedroom cleans and chalet changeover days in an efficient and enthusiastic way
Previous cleaning experience is important and training will be provided.
This is a very flexible role with the main responsibility being for the management of the standards of cleanliness across all Chilly Powder properties. You will aim to maximise customer satisfaction by providing neat and clean rooms in accordance with the Chilly Powder standards, and to provide efficient, prompt, courteous, trouble free and proactive service to guests. This role requires a high degree of organisation.
Key Roles and Responsibilities-
Manage the laundry for all Chilly Powder properties. During the winter and summer seasons the laundry is sent out, but during quieter times the laundry is done in house.
Manage the stock for all necessary linens, guest supplies, and cleaning equipment
Manage damaged linen and linen returns
Wash and iron sheets and towels as required
Clean and service guest rooms and communal areas in all Chilly Powder properties as required according to operational policies and standards (daily cleans and weekly changeover cleans)
Ensure the standard of room servicing and cleaning is maintained in all Chilly Powder properties by conducting regular inspections to ensure the rest of the team have the same standards throughout the season
Attend to guest needs and requests courteously and efficiently
Carry out deep cleans of all the Chilly Powder properties at the end of each season. Help other departments when required.
Have a flexible attitude towards work schedules as required by the business
Maintain own working areas, materials and company property clean, tidy and in good shape
Conduct staff training regarding room servicing standards when required
Manage the chalet hosts on changeover days to ensure all chalets are cleaned to the same high standards
Alert the Operations Manager of any problems or potential problems immediately
Report any maintenance faults as soon as they occur using our established procedures
Maintain an enthusiastic and helpful approach to other team members and guest care at all times
Interact and show genuine interest in our guests at all times to create memorable holiday experiences Shifts
1 full day off per week, additional 2.5 days holiday per month

Requirements
This opportunity is great for those with excellent personal skills, bubbly personalities and an ‘of course’ attitude without watching your clock.

Due to French employment rules, we can only accept applicants who have the right to work in France which means EU passport holders or non-Eu passport holders that have a French working visa. British passport holders will need to have already obtained or applied for a Titre de Séjour.
