Job Description
A Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms to the highest standards, including making beds, replenishing amenities, and ensuring the room is tidy.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Show ability to provide housekeeping service in vacant and occupied rooms.
- Ability to do housekeeping morning and turndown service.
- Adhere and practice housekeeping procedures/ SOPs during room cleaning.
- Manage stock of pantry and trolley.
- Good usage of cleaning tools and equipment like vacuum cleaner, monobrosse, jet pressure machine and ensure good maintenance of these equipment.
- Report anything or anyone suspicious or any anomalies to the Housekeeping Coordinator immediately.
- Respect and follow the Key card procedure (i.e. signing in and out for key cards, returning all keys after work, swiping in & out while accessing room).
- Ensure Lost and Found procedure are followed and respected.
- Adhere to sanitary protocols and health & safety measures put in place by the management.
- Perform any other duties as required by Management.
Qualifications
- NC 3 in Housekeeping or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in luxury hotels in similar positions.
- Be a passionate, talented, creative and possess a dynamic personality and be highly motivated.
- Positive attitude and good communication skills.
