Our Housekeepers are there to present our luxury properties through attention to detail and caring about the small details.
The Housekeeper role works across all properties, supporting chalet teams through fulfilling daily, mid-week, and change-over deep property cleans. The schedule provides variation in the role, changeable weekly depending on guest bookings, booked chalets, and Check-in times.
A successful candidate will need strong communication, and time management skills, working with initiative, and taking pride in the role to excel in luxury service delivery. This role can be demanding physically, working to time pressures,
Housekeeper Role Overview
· Perform daily housekeeping, that includes cleaning, changing linen and reporting maintenance issues in properties, and Armadillo office.
· Work efficiently either individually or within a team, to a schedule and under time constraints.
· Preseason, midseason, and end of season chalet deep cleaning, ensuring properties are handing to owners in perfect state.
· Management and care of housekeeping supplies, managing stock in chalets and storerooms. Reporting low stock to Resort Operations Administrator.
· Responsibility of health and safety within chalets, checking temperatures and PH levels of Jacuzzis, and testing fire alarms daily.
· Caring for all Armadillo and chalet property, including keys, cleaning equipment and vehicles.
· Guest interaction, being knowledgeable about Armadillo product and service, the resort and mountain, assisting with any guest concierge needs.
· Utilise Armadillo app operational features to improve efficiency and communication within resort team.
· Flexibility within the resort team, assisting in any role in the event of bookings, illness, and injury.
· Have a positive attitude to your role, Armadillo, team members and guests.
Requirements
Must Have
· EU Passport, or valid work/residency permit for country of work
· Luxury service experience of 2 years or more, with either luxury ski chalet, Michelin restaurant or super yacht experience.
· Knowledge of ski resorts/season life
· Fluent in English
· Available full winter season, November to April
