We are looking for a Head Chef to work for us on either on annual basis or season basis at our 4* hotel in Morzine in the French Alps which is highly rated on Tripadvisor. We are open 28 weeks of the year (December - April and then June - September) and also host weddings and events outside of these dates. You need to be a creative and talented yet relaxed chef who will complement the rest of our staff in our chalet. A passion for excellent ingredients is a must!
Here at Chilly Powder we like to provide our guests with a wow factor that excites them and is completely different to other ski/chalet companies. The food is one of the main reasons why our guests come back every year.
The Head Chef is responsible for menu design and planning of all food prepared and served in the hotel and our neighbouring chalets, including breakfast, afternoon tea, children's food and a 5 course dinner each evening.
You will be responsible for all ordering, shopping, budget control and management of the food produced, kitchen hygiene and keeping the kitchens stocked.
Due to the seasonal nature of the business, the role is 6 days a week.
The successful applicant will require a valid driving licence.

Requirements
All of our chefs need to be fully qualified, with at least 2 years' work experience at a minimum level of Chef de Partie. Rosette experience is preferred but not essential. Francesca the hotel owner is also a qualified chef.
