Our Youth Development Manager/Duty Manager will be responsible for organising, running and developing our coaching pathway, including our NICAS and Squad. As Youth Development Manager/Duty Manager, your role will be to mentor and develop the current team of instructors and coaches as well as organising and further developing deliverables and products within the coaching pathway. Ensuring the delivery of a premium coaching/youth programme experience in support of Parthian’s missions and core values. The role will also include duty management shifts, full training will be provided.
Youth Development Manager/Duty Manager responsibilities:
- Developing and overseeing the Youth Programme, including NICAS and Squad scheduling.
- Coaching and instructing a full range of climbing sessions, delivering a high standard of session for our junior and adult pathways.
- Talent scouting and assisting the Climbing Squad at Local and National Competitions where required.
- Managing the implementation of youth profile information and session planning.
- Talent scouting and recruiting new squad members to fulfil group ratios
- Identifying and delivering staff training as required.
- Improving and monitoring staff productivity and efficiency through staff observations. Distributing responsibilities and leadership opportunities for coaches, providing valuable feedback and professional development.
The Youth development Manager/Duty Manager will be well supported by an experienced management team and will play a key role in the future development of the centre. We will provide training and development to ensure that you flourish in the role and grow with the company.
This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, with a variety of daytime, evening and weekend shifts.
