Job Brief Responsibilities and duties for this position shall include, but not be limited to, the following areas and activities. At management discretion, direction may be given for tasks outside the scope of work described.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Check all outlets and ensure music system are well maintained and ensure that quality of music is suitable in all the F&B outlets.
- Ensure the evening entertainment by the bar.
- Ensure the play list is up to date with new trend in Music and develop the play list when ever needed.
- Ensures that his or her program is running smoothly, while occasionally speaking live to the audience.
- Maintain a pleasant and controlled voice with good pronunciation
- Inspect all F&B outlets to ensure music are set properly.
- Ensure entertainment of all events. Eg: Destination dinings, Beach party, Staff party, Wedding and management cocktails.
- Coordinates and follow entertainment set up and quality from external service provider.
- Ensure to meet guest during aperitif and digestive and monitor comments pertaining entertainment.
- Maintains all entertainment equipment in good conditions.
- Prepare summary report on guest comment.
- Maintain good relationship with the other departments.
- Be familiar with Food and Beverage Department facilities.
- Performs related duties such as taking bar shifts and special project as assigned.
- Maintain and control all necessary correspondences according to filling system desired by F&B Manager and updated, which includes all typing such as: menus, wine card, special menus, gift vouchers, etc.
- Promotes sale of extras and attends to guests' requests.
- Make sure that all guests in the bar have been taken good care of.
- Directs guests to various facilities in the hotels.
- Attends all the training sessions
- Abide to rules and regulations as per hotel’s policies.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.
Candidate Requirements: - Minimum 2 years of experience in event planning, hospitality, or entertainment.
- Proven track record in organizing and managing high-profile events, including corporate functions, weddings, and private parties.
- Strong background in DJing with expertise in mixing different genres, reading the crowd, and creating engaging music experiences.
- Experience working in a luxury resort or high-end event setting is an advantage.
- Event Management: Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple aspects of an event seamlessly.
