Job Description
We are seeking an organised and efficient Maintenance Coordinatorto join our team at Constance Belle Mare Plage, Mauritius. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all maintenance activities to ensure the smooth operation of our resort facilities.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all resort equipment and facilities
- Coordinate and prioritise maintenance requests, assigning tasks to appropriate team members
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring optimal stock levels
- Liaise with external contractors and vendors for specialised maintenance services
- Monitor and report on maintenance costs, identifying areas for improvement and cost savings
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards
- Conduct regular inspections of resort facilities to identify potential issues
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and equipment history
- Collaborate with other departments to minimise disruptions during maintenance work
- Provide technical support and guidance to the maintenance team as needed
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in maintenance coordination or a related field
- Proficiency in maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proven problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of building systems, equipment, and preventive maintenance practices
- Understanding of health and safety regulations in the hospitality industry
- Experience in the hospitality industry is preferred
- Relevant certifications in maintenance management are advantageous
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required in a resort setting
- Fluency in English; knowledge of French or other languages is beneficial
