Job Brief
The Guest Experience Manager/Villa Manager (In charge of Villas)is responsible for consistent delivery of the highest standards of the products and service. Also sees to all the personal needs of villa guests.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Preparing staff schedules, discipline and recruitment in collaboration with the Assistant Villa Manager.
· Keep Villas in perfect condition, implementing checklists, training of Villa Hosts and coordination with the Maintenance department and Landscaping.
· To train the Villa Hosts and assure Housekeeping and Maintenance standards are maintained and consistent.
· Recruitment and development of team members.
· Ensure that all Villa inventories are adequate for Villa turnover.
· Responsible for making sure that all cleaning products are the correct ones being used on surfaces and materials.
· Coordinate and report to the Maintenance Department any maintenance issue that may affect the daily operation.
· Ensure smooth open communication and collaboration
· Make sure that high levels of guest satisfaction are achieved.
· Make sure that stocks of goods and materials used in villa operation are always available and stored in the right area.
· Make sure that health and safety rules are followed in the department
· To maintain appropriate records and filing systems for the successful completion of all job requirements
Candidate Requirements :
· Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management
· A minimum of 3(three) years of experience in a similar role in international 5-star luxury resort hotel
· Effective communication skills and pleasant personality are a must – advantage if speaks various language
· Possession of superior interactive skills is essential
· Knowledge of Opera
· Fluent in English, a second language is a plus (French; German; Italian...)
· Experience working in top of the range luxury island resorts in tropical locations will constitute a definite advantage.
· Previous Villas experience in a large luxury resort of over 250 rooms and more than 5 F&B Outlets, with refined catering for the discerning and demanding traveler.
· International exposure in different continents.
· Proven experience in working with budget, P&L, inventory controls
